Women In The Word – Bruised, Battered, Broken
Hey ya’ll it’s Lizzie with “Women In The Word.” Today my topic is “Bruised, Battered, Broken, But Still Beautiful.” The scripture that we are looking at is Isaiah 66:9 “I will not cause pain without allowing something to be born says the Lord.”
You are beautiful just the way you are. Hear me out; let me make myself very clear. Do not let anyone tell you differently. Do not allow anyone to take the “J” out of your joy. Ladies when you wake up, before your feet hit the floor, tell yourself “I am strong, beautiful, and worthy. I am created in the image of the one true King.” How often have people or situations left you bruised, battered, or broken? Ugly, nasty words I know. Not everyone is happy for you or wants you to succeed. There are those that would like to see you fail. Don’t allow Satan to rob you of your purpose. He is a liar; don’t believe a word of it. Don’t believe the lies he whispers in your ear. He enjoys holding you back from the beautiful things God has just for you. Friends no matter how much, or how many times you have sinned, God still desires to have a relationship with you. Do you have a relationship with Him? God knows our troubles, and sees our bruises. He made each of us special and He wants to have a personal relationship with us. If there is a tugging at your heart to have a relationship with Him, please reach out to me or a pastor. I would love to be a part of your salvation experience. I’ll be praying for you, and lets grow our faith together.
